In the heart of Barangay Igtuba, strategically located along the national highway, stands a two-storey building designated to accommodate the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council.
This structure, a beacon of safety and preparedness, underscores the town’s commitment to mitigating the impacts of disasters and enhancing resilience among its residents.
SK GYM UNDERGOES A TRANSFORMATION
The Sangguniang Kabataan Covered Gym in Barangay Ilaya is undertaking an exciting transformation in preparation for the upcoming Salakayan Festival.
To enhance the experience for attendees, additional bleachers and a giant fan are being installed, increasing capacity to accommodate between 900 and 1,000 guests.
This upgrade aims to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone during the Salakayan Tribes Competition on February 8, 2025.
It should be noted that the SK Gym will be the main judging area for the aforementioned competition.
