Mayor Garin, along with the Responsableng Gobyerno team, personally handed over the check as assistance for the rehabilitation of their multi-purpose hall.

Who could be more excited about the Tumagbok Shoreline Protection than the residents of Barangay Baybay Norte.
On top of its purpose to shield them from the effects of strong waves, it was agreed that they will be the priority in the putting up of business once the project is completed.
“Kun kay sin – o atubang balay sia ang may priority nga magbusiness ridyan,” Congresswoman Janette Garin told the residents during the pre-construction conference for the project earlier today.
The project will give way for the construction of the 940 meters of shoreline protection with 6.10 meters wide access road, curb and gutter, fencing, sidewalk, drainage, and solar LED streetlights.

Congresswoman Janette Garin and Mayor Richard Garin led the groundbreaking ceremony of the construction of UP Visayas road leading to academic institutions at the UPV earlier today.
“We wanted to build this project in the hearts and the minds of the people, kay wara ti makatakaw kara. And that we did something, we will leave a legacy for the next generation,” said Mayor Richard Garin in his speech.
“Let us be ONE and let us promote unity, ang naga divide kanaton are those nga may vested interest. Kun ang ginapaminsar mo para sa kaaraydan kang UP, Miagao kag First District let us unite,” he added.
The fund for the project came from the Leadership Allocation of Congresswoman Garin.

Mayor Garin also extended assistance for the improvement of their multi-purpose building.

The residents of Barangay Oyungan could be the luckiest today with the visit of Mayor Richard Garin in their barangay.
They took the opportunity to personally bring up their pressing concerns in their barangays to include the construction of temporary river control (gabion), and leveling of barangay roads, among others.
Mayor Garin responded positively to their request as he immediately requested for the DPWH to work on the gabion and for the request for the heavy equipment for the leveling of the barangay roads.
