NEW BUILT-IN SPEAKERS AND LED LIGHTS FOR JRBB HALL

The JRBB Hall has received a significant upgrade following the local government’s initiative to install new built-in speakers and LED lights, thereby enhancing its overall functionality.
It is important to highlight that the JRBB Hall was recently renovated, incorporating air conditioning units to improve comfort.
With these new additions, the hall is set to become more prominent and versatile, catering effectively to important events hosted by the local government and its renters.
 

NEW HEAVY EQUIPMENT TO BENEFIT MIAGAOWANONS RECEIVES BLESSINGS

In response to the escalating costs of maintenance and repairs, the local government has acquired five new heavy equipment units to better serve the people of Miagao. These units were blessed on February 25, 2025.
The new additions—a grader, a backhoe, a paver, and two garbage compactors—are anticipated to significantly enhance road maintenance and support various infrastructure projects throughout the barangays. This investment not only aims to improve the efficiency of local services but also to promote the overall development of Miagao.

MIAGAO WELCOMES WALANG GUTOM PROGRAM

The Municipality of Miagao is privileged to be part of the Walang Gutom Program of the Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office VI.
On February 14, 2025, the DSWD personnel, headed by Fabelino V. Bendoy Jr. Project Development Officer III / Regional Program Coordinator, conducted the program orientation with the aim of jumpstarting the program as soon as possible.
WGP is an anti-hunger and poverty reduction program that aims to decrease the incidence of involuntary hunger experienced by low-income households through the provision of food credit assistance amounting to three thousand pesos (Php 3,000.00) per month, in the form of Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) cards, which can be used to purchase a select list of food commodities from eligible partner retail stores.
In his message, Mayor Richard Garin thanked the DSWD for the programs that are of high impact to the Miagaowanons.
