RESPONSABLE NG GOBYERNO SYMPATHIZES WITH SAPA RESIDENTS DISTRIBUTES FOOD PACKS PROMPTLY

Following reports of severe flooding in Barangay Sapa due to heavy rain on the morning of November 1, 2024, Mayor Richard Garin swiftly ordered the release and distribution of food packs to approximately 137 affected families.
“Nagapaabot guid ang grupo kang Responsableng Gobyerno, sa pagpanguna ni Congresswoman Doc Nanay Janette Garin kang among simpatiya sa inyo kalisod,” he stated while overseeing the food pack distribution.
Mayor Garin further emphasized the urgency of the situation by directing the immediate declogging of the box culvert, which had contributed to the flooding in Barangay Sapa.
“Lantawon naton kun ano pa ang sarang naton mahimo. Rest assured nga kita sa Responsableng Gobyerno magapalab-ot guid kang aton serbisyo kaninyo,” he assured.
The distribution efforts were a collaborative initiative involving the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), and the Mayor’s Office.

MIAGAO CELEBRATES NATIONAL CHARITY DAY

Mayor Richard Garin led the celebration of Feeding National Charity Day on October 30, 2024.
The program, spearheaded by the Municipal Health Office headed by Dr. Rhea Palacios, was held in partnership with the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office and DepEd (Guibongan Igtuba Integrated School), featuring a feeding activity, free haircuts, and the distribution of medicine.

BARANGAY VISIT TO BARANGAY CALAMPITAO

Mayor Richard Garin led the Responsableng Gobyerno initiative to support the barangays. On October 26, 2024, the team visited Barangay Calampitao to present a check for the Water System Project for the barangay and to disburse its share of the Real Property Tax.
Mayor Garin expressed gratitude to the community for their ongoing support of his administration, promoting the slogan “Miagao Palangga Ta, Progreso Padayunon Pa.”

MARKET VENDORS MEETING

Under the guidance of Mayor Richard Garin, Mr. Jon Mark Muyong, the Municipal Economic Enterprise’s Market In-charge, has been instrumental in fostering the growth of local vendors.
On October 28, 2024, Mr. Muyong convened a meeting with the Miagao Market Vendors Association, led by its president, Mr. Loreto Nagallo, Sr. They tackled pressing concerns, including Tax Identification Number (TIN) and Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) registration, among other vital issues.
For his part, Mayor Richard Garin conveyed his profound appreciation to the vendors for their steadfast support. He also announced a subsidy intended to alleviate the financial burden of the DOLE registration fees.
