Mayor Richard Garin formally turned over the amount of P200,000.00 from the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration to the officers of the Miagao OFW Family Circle.
This partial amount from a total of P1-million grant will be used as their start – up capital for their laundry business.

As part of its ongoing campaign to promote a healthy lifestyle among local government employees, LGU Miagao revived its “Hataw Fitness,” a 30-minute Zumba session and ball games to be held every Thursday from 4:30 onwards at the Municipal Plaza and grounds.
Headed by Mayor Richard Garin, the program was launched on June 15, 2023, to provide an opportunity to get good exercise and a break for the whole week of tiring office and fieldwork.

Some 1,400 relief packs were turned-over today by the Department of Social Welfare and Development Office to the Municipality of Miagao.
The turn-over was personally attended by regional Director Carmelo Nochete and Mayor Richard Garin.
In his speech, Mayor Garin thanked RD Nochete for his “pag-ulikid sa mga pumuluyo kang banwa kang Miagao”.
These prepositioned relief packs will used during calamities and disasters. These are 1,000 family food packs, 100 box of hygiene kits, 150 kitchen kits and 150 sleeping kits.

Provincial Director Carmelo Orbista, CESO personally handed over the check amounting to P100,000.00 to Mayor Richard Garin, earlier today.
The amount form part of the incentives received by the local government as Anti-Drug Abuse Council National Awardee for FY 2021.
Mayor Garin also shared the success with VM Macario Napulan who was the Mayor in 2021.

The residents of five barangays enjoyed the services of the local government direct from Barangay Oyaoy.
This, during the Responsableng Gobyerno Project Pag-ulikid work immersion program of the LGU earlier today.
Barangays Mabayan, Agdum, Maduyo, Oyaoy, and Tigmarabao enjoyed the services like medical and dental consultations, family planning, vaccinations, haircut, and ear piercing, among others.
