β€˜NGA SERVICE DAY’

The members of the national government agencies here took the time to extend services to the Miagaowanons in a one-day NGA Service Day.
The event, participated in by the members of the Philippine Army, Philippine National Police, Bureau of Fire Protection and Department of the Interior and Local Government, was held at the Regional Evacuation Center on December 20, 2023. it offered free services like haircut, circumcision, free medical check-ups, among others.
The NGA Day is one of the innovations of this year’s Paskwa sa Miagao celebration.

On oath taking of barangay officials CONG JLG CALLS ON UNITY

Congresswoman Janette Garin officiated the oath of office of the 1190 newly elected barangay officials in a ceremony during the Liga Night on December 19, 2023.
In her message, Congresswoman Garin told everyone extend a reconciliation hand to their opponent in the barangay.
β€œIndi kamo mag dumot. Unity starts in every home, barangay. Unity is the link that will cut across all barriers. Kay ang pinakamayad nga mapanubli ta sa mga apo ta is a peaceful and progressive Miagao,” she said.
