ANTI RABIES VACCINATION CONTINUES

The members of the Anti Rabies Task Force are out and about to continue with the vaccination of dogs and cats in the barangays.

‘BAWAL ANG RED TAPE’

This came after the quick visit of the Anti-Red Tape Authority personnel headed by Ms. Josephine Venus Castillo, who checked on the readiness of the LGU to respond to the needs of the clientele following the provisions of the Anti-Red Tape Act.

ZERO OPEN DEFECATION PROGRAM CONTINUES

Some 27 Miagaowanons received toilet bowls and materials for its installation in a distribution held at the JRBB Hall on January 22, 2024.
The distribution formed part of the LGU’s effort to achieve zero open defecation in Miagao.
For his part, Mayor Richard Garin personally pledges for the transportation expenses of the materials as he asked the beneficiaries to ensure that it will be installed and used.

MIAGAOWANON DRIVERS RECEIVE PERKS ON OCA GARIN DAY

On Oca Garin Day (Kindness Day), January 22, 2024, some 955 tricycle drivers became recipients of the kindness that the celebration brings.
These drivers received three liters of gasoline, long sleeve shirt and rice in a distribution yesterday on time for the 83rd birthday of former Congressman Oca Garin.
In his message, Mayor Richard Garin said that “it doesn’t matter kun kasan-o ginpadara ni Lord or kun san-o na ikaw pabalikon sa ana paraiso, importante ang kon ano na share ko while you are here.”
Oca Garin day is celebrated every 22nd of January as per Provincial Ordinance 2022-265 of the Sangguninag Panlalawigan of Iloilo.
