The members of the Local Health Board and the Municipal Nutrition Council convened to address pressing health concerns, including updates on the recent cases of dengue hemorrhagic fever prevalent in the area.

Mayor Richard Garin presided over the meeting as the Council devised strategies to combat the disease.
Additionally, the Council outlined upcoming activities, such as Lung Month, Blood Donation Day, Human Milk Donation, and Family Planning Month.

‘LUCKY BARANGAY IGBUGO’

Barangay Igbugo could be the luckiest on August 17, 2024, as they celebrate three significant events for their residents.
First, Congresswoman Janette L. Garin proudly inaugurated the Garinasium at Jesus Nievales Memorial Elementary School, a new facility made possible through the persistent efforts of Mayor Richard Garin, who recognized its vital importance for the school’s learners.
Second, they received an amount of P70,000 for the improvement of the Barangay.
Lastly, they hosted Bantay Kalusugan, moving it from its usual venue to the Regional Evacuation Center.
In his remarks, Mayor Garin expressed gratitude to Congresswoman Garin for her unwavering dedication to the Miagaowanons, as these significant events were made possible through her office.
