Mark your calendars for 2nd Sayaw Hablon: slated to happen on September 18, at the Justice Ramon B. Britanico Hall.

Iloilo Science and Technology University Miagao Campus led by Dr. Ramon N. Emmanuel Jr., Campus Administrator, along with Dr. Pacifico Aguilar, Jr., P.E. Division Chair, and University of the Philippines Visayas through Dr. Teresita E. Portugalete- Nolledo and Asst. Prof. Rhoma Grace V. Pandan faculty members, Department of Physical Education College of Arts and Sciences organized by the Local Government Unit of Miagao under the administration of Hon. Engr. Oscar “Richard” S. Garin, Jr., the dance festival aims to underline dance’s role in nation-building, and also encourage the appreciation of dance through the lineup of performances plotted throughout the event participated by public and private primary and secondary schools in this Municipality.

The members of the Buenavista Sur and Pudpud Farmers Association were fortunate to be recipients of the Lawa and Binhi Program of the Department of Social Welfare and Development.

The representatives of the association received the materials that they will use in the implementation of the project. They were commissioned by the DSWD to build small dam reservoirs and produce high-value crops in their area.
The Lawa and Binhi Program seeks to offer cash assistance to farmers and fisherfolk, focusing on improving water sufficiency and boosting food security within the community.
