On September 20, 2024, a total of 472 Miagaowanons received their codes, granting them the authority to withdraw their salaries for ten days of service as DOLE Tupad beneficiaries.

This initiative reflects the mayor’s commitment to uplifting the livelihoods of the community and ensuring that every citizen benefits from available support under the Responsableng Gobyerno.

 

Mayor Richard Garin proudly received the Patient Transport Vehicle from President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on September 19, 2024 in Passi City, representing the municipalities that will benefit from this initiative.

This vehicle will undoubtedly serve the people of Miagao, enhancing transport options across its 119 barangays.

This annual event is one of the highlights of the celebrations for the Feast of St. Thomas of Villanova. It was organized by the Miagao Parish Social Action Ministry in partnership with the Daughters of Mary Immaculate, International.

In support of this initiative, Mayor Richard Garin personally distributed food packs to the attendees, emphasizing the community’s spirit of generosity.”
