LGU EMPLOYEES DAY 2024

The local government officials and employees took a break from their daily duties to participate in the one-day Employees Day 2024 at the JRBB Hall on September 27, 2024.
The event featured a forum on Mental Health, interactive games, and self-care services like manicures and pedicures.
In his message, Mayor Richard Garin expressed gratitude to all attendees for their steadfast dedication and commitment. He emphasized the importance of their role in the leadership of Responsableng Gobyerno, aimed at delivering quality service to the Miagaowanons.

BARANGAY VISIT TO BARANGAY TAMBONG

Mayor Richard Garin led the Responsableng Gobyerno initiative to support the barangays. On September 27, 2024, the team visited Barangay Tambong to present a check for the installation of CCTV for the barangay and to disburse its share of the Real Property Tax.
Mayor Garin expressed gratitude to the community for their ongoing support of his administration, promoting the slogan “Miagao Palangga Ta, Progreso Padayunon Pa.”

In addition to the marketing efforts surrounding the Hablon Festival, Mayor Richard Garin emphasized the importance of sustaining hablon production for future generations.

As part of the six-day festivities, a Hablon Sustainability seminar was organized to engage and inspire young, potential weavers. The event was held in partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry.
Among the speakers were Jaime Anne V. Sermon, Stephanie E. Robles, and Christian N. Torreflores, who addressed various topics related to the art of weaving and its cultural significance.
This seminar took place at the ISAT Hostel from September 16 to 18, 2024.
