Mayor Richard Garin was the guest of honor and speaker at the Founding Anniversary Celebration of Barangay Ubos Ilaya on April 23, 2024.

“Maninguha kita, whatever we can do, whatever we can share, obrahon ta para da kaaraydan kang aton banwa pareho man kag paninguha kang aton administrasyon para sa kauswagan ka banwa,” Mayor Garin highlighted in his speech.
Mayor Garin also shared his accomplishments and future plans for Miagao as he called on everyone to join him in his dream of making Miagao a conducive place to live in for every Miagaowanons.

Miagao RHU undergoes nutrition evaluation

The Rural Health Unit/Municipal Health Office here, under Dr. Rhea Palacios, underwent a one-day validation of the progress of implementation of the plan of action on nutrition on April 25, 2024.
The evaluation focused on the implemented outreach programs, budget allocation and expenditure, as well as the policies issued.

The personnel of the MDRRMO facilitated the training/orientation on Basic Life Support, First Aid including Bandaging, CPR, and Carrying with the members of the 61st IB Hunter Battalion on April 20-21, 2024.

These young men and women from St. Louise De Marillac School of Miagao, Iloilo, Inc. will be on work immersion in various local government offices for ten days on April 22 to May 3, 2024. Mayor Richard Garin gladly welcomed the students as he expressed his all-out support for the programs of the Department of Education.

BANTAY KALUSUGAN HEALTH CARAVAN DAY 3

Consistent enough, Congresswoman Janette L. Garin and Mayor Richard Garin personally supervised the conduct of the Bantay Kalusugan Health Caravan Day 3 at the Regional Evacuation Center on April 23, 2024.
In her statement, Congresswoman Garin assured that ‘we will come back’ as she sees the need for another round of Bantay Kalusugan for the Miagaoanons.
