‘INSPECTION OF DAMILISAN-OYUNGAN ROAD’

Mayor Richard Garin, along with the personnel of the Department of Public Works and Highways, conducted the site inspection of the Damilisan-Oyungan Road.
The road is scheduled for rehabilitation after the conduct of the pre-construction conference of the project on May 2, 2024.
It may be noted that the road was used as an alternate route for the Oyungan Bridge.

MAYOR RSG SENDS EMPLOYEES TO SEMINAR ON EASE IN DOING BUSINESS

In an effort to attract more businesses and ensure the protection of clients and citizens conducting business in Miagao, Mayor Richard Garin sent all department heads and employees to a two-day seminar workshop on RA 11032, also known as the Anti-Red Tape Act, at the ISAT U Hostel on April 25 and 26, 2024.
In his message, Mayor Garin stated that he hopes to establish an efficient system that will provide ease for citizens when conducting business with the local government.
“We should be consistent in our roles as department heads, representing the mayor. Your performance reflects the mayor,” he emphasized.
He also expressed gratitude to the speakers, Atty. Charry Mae Valenzuela and Mrs. Josephine Venus Castillo of the Anti-Red Tape Authority, for guiding the local government on how to enhance the ease of doing business for its citizens.

DAMILISAN – OYUNGAN CONSTRUCTION OF ROAD

Mayor Richard Garin led the pre-construction conference for the construction of the 500-lineal meter Damilisan-Oyungan Road at Barangay Damilisan Chapel on May 2, 2024.
The pre-construction conference was attended by representatives of the DPWH, the contractor of the project – Arriane Merchandising and Construction Services, Inc., and the residents of Barangay Damilisan.
The road was identified as an alternate Iloilo-Antique and vice versa route.
At the pre-construction conference, expectations of the project are defined, roles are clarified, risks are identified and mitigated, and schedules and budgets are carefully reviewed.
