MIAGAOWANONS TO RECEIVE 15k EACH IN FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

These Miagaowanons were lucky enough to be chosen as beneficiaries of the P15,000 financial assistance under the Sustainable Livelihood Program of the Department of Social Welfare and Development.
The beneficiaries from Kirayan Tacas, Igtuba, Malagyan, Igpandan, Kirayan Sur, Dawog, and Baraclayan were chosen as among the vulnerable groups in their barangays.
With the program, it is hoped that their socio-economic status will be improved as they put up their business to augment their daily income.

BARANGAY VISIT TO BARANGAY SAN FERNANDO

Mayor Richard Garin led the Responsabelng Gobyerno in assisting the barangays.
On October 22, 2024, they visited Barangay San Fernando, where the barangay received a check for the construction of comfort room and its share of the Real Property Tax.
Mayor Garin expressed gratitude for the community’s ongoing support, championing the tagline β€œMiagao Palangga Ta, Progreso Padayunon Pa.”

MAYOR RSG LEADS DISTRIBUTION OF 1.6 MILLION ASSISTANCE TO MIAGAOWANONS

Mayor Richard Garin, along with personnel from the Department of Social Welfare and Development, headed by Rowena Santiago and Abelito Lima, led the distribution of financial assistance totaling 1.6 million to five Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) associations in town.
These SLP associations are groups of 101 former 4Ps beneficiaries who graduated from the program and were granted assistance to sustain their livelihood.
The associations are: Kauswagan SLP Association, Miagao Himakas SLPA, Kirayan Norte SLPA, Lumangan Tatoy SLPA, and Canyugan SLPA.
The amount will be used by the associations to purchase cattle for their cattle-raising activities.

GETTING READY FOR CHRISTMAS

Mayor Richard Garin visited the worksite where laborers were diligently preparing the Christmas decorations.
He emphasized to them the importance of meeting the timeline for the much-anticipated Switching on of Lights event, scheduled for December 16, 2024.
The Mayor’s presence underscores his commitment to creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere for the Miagaowanons as they prepare to celebrate the holiday season.
