SENIOR HS PARENTS RECEIVE ASSISTANCE FROM CONG JLG
This time, it is the parents of senior high school students who are benefiting from the Ayuda sa Kapos ang Kita Program (AKAP) initiated by Congresswoman Doc Nanay Janette Garin in collaboration with the DSWD.
On October 24, 2024, Congresswoman Garin personally led the distribution, providing essential financial assistance to low-income, minimum wage earners affected by rising inflation rates. This initiative aims to alleviate the financial burden on families, ensuring that students can focus on their education without added stress.
MIAGAOWANONS RECEIVE HOSPITALIZATION ASSISTANCE
Hospitalization can be a daunting experience, often accompanied by significant costs. However, for two Miagaowanons, there is a silver lining, as they received financial assistance for their loved ones’ medical needs.
On October 24, 2024, the following claims were released:
– Claimant: Carlyn Munion for patient LM
Amount granted: P50,000
– Claimant: Adolfo Factes for patient FC
Amount granted: P30,000
This assistance was provided by the Department of Health through its Medical Assistance to Indigent and Financially Incapacitated Patients Program, facilitated by the Office of Congresswoman Doc Nanay Janette Garin.
These contributions offer much-needed relief during difficult times, emphasizing community support in moments of need.
754 MIAGAOWANONS ARE DOLE TUPAD BENEFICIARIES
Thanks to Congresswoman Janette L. Garin, 754 Miagaowanons will receive support through DOLE TUPAD, or Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers.
During the orientation on October 24, 2024, Mayor Oscar “Richard” S. Garin, Jr. expressed his gratitude to Congresswoman Garin for prioritizing the needs of the Miagaowanons. He assured the community that, in collaboration with the Congresswoman, he would continue to provide essential services to benefit the residents.
DOLE TUPAD is a community-based assistance program offering emergency employment for displaced, underemployed, and seasonal workers for a duration of 10 days.

MAYOR RSG BRINGS ASSISTANCE TO BARANGAY TABUNACAN
Mayor Richard Garin and the members of the Responsableng Gobyerno Team are steadfast in their commitment to visiting the barangays.
On October 23rd, they traveled to Barangay Tabunacan to personally deliver the financial assistance to the barangay.
Mayor Garin expressed that this initiative is a way to show appreciation for the unwavering support of the barangays to him and his team.
BARANGAY VISIT TO BARANGAY NARAT-AN
Mayor Richard Garin spearheaded the initiative of the Responsableng Gobyerno to provide aid to the barangays.
On October 23, 2024, the team made their way to Barangay Narat-an, where they presented a check aimed for the construction of solar street lights. Additionally, the barangay received its allocated share of the Real Property Tax.
In his message, Mayor Garin conveyed his appreciation to the community for their steadfast support of his administration, promoting the slogan “Miagao Palangga Ta, Progreso Padayunon Pa.”
