MAYOR RSG WELCOMES AUDIT

“Gusto ko guid i audit. We are working carefully to avoid AOM (Audit Observation Memorandum). Wara ako nagacash advance, I am spending my own resources bilang dispunir to avoid it.”
This was the statement of Mayor Richard Garin to the members of the Commission on Audit (COA) Team who paid courtesy to him earlier today.
The team, headed by Atty. Ro Ann Marie Gumban-Marcelino, visited Miagao to formally jumpstart their audit of all 2022 municipal government transactions.

MAYOR RSG LAUDS ISAT U FOR QUALITY EDUCATION

Mayor Richard Garin was all praises to the management and staff of Iloilo Science and Technology University (ISAT-U)– Miagao Campus for giving “quality education” to its students.
In his message during the 78th Founding Anniversary Celebration on February 1, 2023, Mayor Garin said that “ there are more parents wanting to enroll their children to government colleges and universities because it is where you can find better teachers and professors.”
“ISAT U is giving you the basic ingredients sa pagpangabuhi sa pira ka adlaw. The vision and the mission of the school is to give you quality education kag mangin bugal ikaw kang komunidad because of ISAT-U. Salamat guid ISAT – U, “ Mayor Garin said.

MAYOR RSG SHOWS SUPPORT TO CONTESTING TRIBES GIVES OUT PERKS AS MORALE BOOSTER

“Nalipay guid ako kang community participation nga nagpangibabaw sa ka dya nga okasyon. Ridya ako tulad kay gusto ko guid I appreciate ang effort kang tagsa-tagsa,” Mayor Richard Garin said in his message to the members of the contesting tribes during his visit to them on February 1, 2023.
Mayor Garin personally visited Tribus Bakolodnon, Bantalaan, and Baklayanon to express his support and make everyone feel valued.
In his personal capacity, he provided snacks, t-shirts and P200.00 each to all the participants.
He is also scheduled to visit the other remaining tribes in the coming days.

‘IMMEDIATE REPAIR’

The immediate repair of the road in Zulueta Avenue was as per request of Mayor Richard Garin to the DPWH.
“Delikado ang dyan nga area that we have requested for its immediate repair,” Mayor Garin said.

Mayor Richard Garin called on all department heads today to discuss some pressing concerns.
Among the topics discussed were unimplemented 20% Development Fund and Capital Outlay, updates on Salakayan Festival, garbage collection, HRMO concerns, and fuel among others.
