The members of the African Swine Fever Task Force headed by Mr. Albert Narte conduct regular inspection of all meat products at the Miagao Public Market.
The inspection aims to maintain the status of Miagao as ASF-free municipality.

MIAGAO ACCEPTS STUDENTS FOR SPES PROGRAM

In the hope to augment to their needs and school expenses, 20 Miagaowanon students were picked as beneficiaries of the Special Program for the Employment of Students.
These students will work with the local government for 22 days and will receive compensation: 60 percent from the local government and 40 percent from DOLE.
SPES is an employment-bridging program of the Department of Labor and Employment that aims to provide temporary employment to disadvantaged youth to augment their family’s income and help ensure that beneficiaries can pursue their education.
The Program is usually implemented during summer and Christmas break that is benefitting students, out of school youth and dependents of displaced or would-be-displaced workers.

TESDA DRIVING NC II BENEFICIARIES RECEIVE ALLOWANCE

Some 15 Miagaowanons who have availed of the Free TESDA Driving NC II on August 31 to September 26, 2023, received their allowance in a distribution with Mayor Richard Garin today
This program was brought by TESDA through the request and facilitation of the Office of Congresswoman Janette L. Garin.
