LOOK. In order to provide ease in doing business in Miagao, processing of permits will be online starting in August 2022. This was the commitment of the Department of Information and Communications Technology Engr. Isidro Laguardia during his courtesy visit to Mayor Oscar “Richard” S. Garin, Jr. earlier today.
Engr. Laguardia and his team came to Miagao to introduce the DICT-developed Integrated Business Permits and Licensing System software and to give the LGU an update on the implementation of RA 11032 (Ease of Doing Business Law) and JMC No, 2021-01 (Guidelines for Processing Business Permits, Related Clearance and Licenses in All Cities and Municipalities). They also conducted validation of the data provided by the LGU during the eReadiness survey conducted online.
For his part, Mayor Garin welcomed this development as he hopes for more businesses to prosper in his administration.
