Brighter days ahead for Miagao coffee industry

Days will be even brighter for the coffee growers of Miagao with the technical assistance that will be extended by the experts from the Coffee Heritage Projects, an NGO.
In his courtesy visit to Mayor Richard Garin, Coffee Heritage Projects Project Officer Rich Watanabe offered their technical expertise in the development, promotion, and preservation of the coffee industry.

More irrigation projects up for Miagao

Miagaowanons can expect for more irrigation projects with
the visit of Regional Director Rory Avance and provincial Director Randy Alipis to Mayor Richard Garin.
The NIA officials presented their plans and projects that were lined up for the first congressional district, including Miagao.

The Department of Labor and Employment Iloilo Field Office Head Melissa along with Mayor Richard Garin personally handed over the cheque to the parents/guardians of the child laborers in barangays Maricolcol, Saring, and Tambong.
The three barangays with 27 families, received the total amount of P790,164.00
