It is good news for three elementary schools that will be recipients of Garinasiums.

“The Office of Congresswoman Janette Gatin has provided fund three more Garinasiums para sa Tigmarabo, Dalije and La Consolacion Elementary Schools,” Mayor Richard Garin higlighted in his speech during the Teachers Got Talent – a night for elementary school teachers held at the Municipal Plaza.

 

Mayor Richard Garin highlighted the value of unity in a night filled with fun for the students of the Iloilo Science and Technology University –Miagao Campus and University of the Philippines – Visayas.

Dubbed as U-Nite, the event aimed to rekindle friendship between the two universities in Miagao.

“We can never attain success without united effort.” – Mayor Richard Garin.

Thank you for showing your love and support Miagaowanons, It was another remarkable event for everyone.

As an expression of support to the participants of the food fair, Mayor Richard Garin took some time to visit them earlier today.

The whole stretch of Peñaranda Street was converted into a haven of street foods as one of the main attractions in the week-long Paskwa sa Banwa. Mayor Garin said this is also in support to the small businesses to recover from their loses during the pandemic.

The Street will be closed to traffic every 4PM for the duration of the festivities.

After 2 years in the pandemic, Mayor Richard Garin ensured that it will be the best Christmas celebration again, for the Miagaowanons.

Earlier today, all roads led to the municipal plaza for the first ever Lantern Parade, Opening of Lights, and Fireworks Display.

The parade was participate in by municipal local government officials and employees, various elementary and high schools, barangays and Sangguniang Kabataan.
