250 BEDRIDDEN MIAGAOWANONS RECEIVE FOOD PACKS ON OCA GARIN DAY

Living by his guiding principle “Do not only repay kindness, pass it on”, some 250 bedridden Miagaowanons received food packs on Oca Garin Day (Kindness Day) on January 22, 223.
Braving the heat of the sun and long walks, the LGU staff personally delivered the food packs that contain groceries, biscuits and half sack of rice to the houses of the recipients.
“We are remembering someone sa hinimuan na. Nadura si Oca Garin pero gina sige ta ang pagbulig sa mga bedridden kay amo guid dya ang naandan na nga himuon sang buhi pa,” Mayor Richard Garin said.

MIAGAO TO SUSPEND ODD-EVEN SCHEME IMPLEMENTS EXPERIMENTAL TRAFFIC

Miagao will suspend the implementation of the Odd-Even Scheme effective January 23, 2023.
The suspension, from 4:00 o’clock in the afternoon until 8:00 o’clock of the following morning for the period of sixty days, is in response to the massive complaint on the unavailability of public transport vehicles in the dead hour of the day.
It will also give way to the experimental traffic scheme for the possible amendment of the Traffic Ordinance.

MIAGAOWANON BHWs RECEIVE ALLOWANCE

The 272 Barangay Health Workers of the municipality received their allowance today.
BHWs are the frontliners in the barangays in the delivery of basic health services. Thank you for your hard work, you are truly appreciated!

BARANGAYS RECEIVE POST HARVEST FACILITIES, PA SYSTEM

Some 20 barangays here received the pre and post harvest facilities and public address system from the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s KALAHI Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services (CIDSS) program.
These barangays are Narat-an, Cabangkalan, Igbita, Ilog-ilog, Naclub, Taaal, Tigmalapad, Tuguraao, Ongyod,, Wayang, Mat-y, Aguiauan, Bugtong Naulid, Gines, Bangladan, Maninila, Tatoy, Frantilla, Kirayan Norte and Cawayanan.

On January 22nd, the Garin Family will extend their generosity to the Miagaowanon drivers by giving out three liters of gasoline, three kilograms of rice and long sleeve shirt.
“We do not only repay kindness, we passs it on. Amo dya ang naandan ni Oca Garin nga ginacontinue naton,” Mayor Richard Garin said.

‘GARBAGE COLLECTION’

In his desire to address the problem on garbage, Mayor Richard Garin ordered OIC MENRO Isidro Mosura to fasten the procurement for three units of compactor truck for use in the garbage collection of the municipality.
Mayor Garin personally hears and iron out kinks the problem on garbage of the poblacion and highway barangays in a meeting earlier today.
