On January 25th, Mayor Richard Garin paid courtesy to RD,PRO 6 BGEN Leo M Fransisco RD,PRO 6 at Camp Martin Delgao, Iloilo City.
During the visit, Mayor Garin personally extended his invitation for the Salakayan Festival. In return, the good RD said that he will send “the best” PNP Band to perform in the Salakayan Tribes’ Night on February 11th.
Mayor Garin also informed him that the local government has been extending financial support to finance the Miagao Police Station’s Oplan Zero Backlog on Most Wanted Person.
Further, Mayor Garin also requested for an additional PNP personnel to be deployed in Miagao to which he received positive response.

The families who have been victims of the recent fire rage in Barangay Sag-on received the package from the DSWD FO VI.
The package that contain two boxes food packs, two canister sleeping kits, one canister hygiene kits, one canister cooking utensils, and 10 meters, were personally delivered by the staff from the MSWDO and MDRRMO.

The Office of the MENR is doubling their efforts to cope with the schedule of the garbage collection.
This is in compliance to the instruction of Mayor Richard Garin to make Miagao neat and clean. MENRO is the office-in-charge of the collection of garbage of the barangays, while GSO was tasked to collect the same from all government institutions here.

Mayor Richard Garin highlighted the essence of sportsmanship in his message during the opening of the Mayor Oscar”Richard” Garin. Jr Salakayan Basketball League 2023 on January 22, 2023.
“Winning the game doesn’t only mean you are victorious and losing the game doesn’t mean you are defeated. Kun magdaug kamo, stay humble. Ikaw nga napierde, accept defeat kag magpasalamat kag maninguha naman para sa imo kadarag-an sa sunod,” said Mayor Garin.
The basketball league, organized by JMQ Stylez owner and proprietor Kent Fantonalgo is also their participation in the Oca Garin Day (Kindness Day). It will run through January 31, 2023.

This was the statement of Mayor Richard Garin as he represented Garin Family in the distribution of 3kg rice, long sleeve shirt and 3 liters gasoline to all tricycle drivers in Miagao on Oca Garin Day on January 22nd.
“I reciprocate naton ria based also on the guiding principle of Oca Garin that do not only repay kindness, pass it on. Indi kita mag-untat sa pasalamat and at the same time mangita man kita kang tawo nga buligan ta man,” Mayor Garin said.
