In line with the celebration of the Fire Prevention Month, the personnel from the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, in tandem with the Bureau of Fire Protection here, conducted a series of activities on preparedness.
Today, the group was in Ticdalan Elementary School where they conducted a fire drill, emergency preparedness, emergency response, and orientation on basic first aid.

MAYOR RSG SUPPORTS MUNICIPAL MEET TALKS ABOUT SPORTSMANSHIP TO ATHLETES

Mayor Richard Garin expressed his love and support to the members of the DepEd community through his presence during the opening of the 2024 Municipal Sports and Cultural Meet at the Miagao Central Elementary School Oval on January 15, 2024.
In his message, Mayor Garin. Talked about sportsmanship and the local government’s support to the endeavors of the schools.
“ You are considered a sportsman if you know how to respect the rules of the game, officials, opponent and even the audience. We want you to develop physically, mentally and emotionally,” he told the athletes.
Mayor Garin also revealed that the municipal government has allocated some P100,000.00 for the municipal meet.
The Meet was scheduled on January 15-16, 2024, for the sports events and January 18-19, 2024, for the Garin’s Cup cultural competitions.
