No less than Mayor Richard Garin himself led the conduct of the pre-construction conference for the Miagao Shoreline Protection leading to UNESCO World Heritage Church in Barangays Baybay Norte and Sur.

The Department of Public Works and Highways will be working on the construction of the Bliss Evacuation Center Road.
This, after the Department successfully conducted the pre-construction conference for the project at the Regional Evacuation Center on September 28, 2023.
Headed by the DPWH officials and Mayor Richard Garin, the conference aims to iron out kinks that would possibly affect the full implementation of the project.
The scope of work includes the construction of 1 458 km x 6 10m concrete road with 1.5m shoulder and a rectangular concrete lined canal on selected sections including stone masonry and curb and gutter.

The residents of five barangays enjoyed the services of the local government direct from Barangay Oyaoy.
This, during the Responsableng Gobyerno Project Pag-ulikid work immersion program of the LGU earlier today.
Barangays Mabayan, Agdum, Maduyo, Oyaoy, and Tigmarabao enjoyed the services like medical and dental consultations, family planning, vaccinations, haircut, and ear piercing, among others.

The local government here joined in the conduct of the 2nd National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill.
The employees were earlier reminded to observe the following steps or protocols when an earthquake occurs:
• When inside a building, stay calm and do the “Duck, Cover and Hold”;
• Duck under a strong table and hold on to it. Stay alert for potential threats.
• Stay away from glass windows, shelves, and heavy objects.
• After the shaking stops, exit the building and go to the designated evacuation area.
• When you are outside, move to an open area, stay away from buildings, trees, electric posts, and landslide-prone areas.
• If you are in a moving vehicle, stop and exit the vehicle.
