BSK CANDIDATES JOIN UNITY WALK SUPPORT CLEAN AND PEACEFUL ELECTIONS

Thousands of aspiring Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan officials joined in the Unity Walk and Peace Covenant Signing at the St. Thomas of Villanova Church on October 19, 2023.
The activity, spearheaded by the Philippine National Police in tandem with the Commission on Elections, aims to solicit the commitment of all the candidates to a clean, peaceful, and orderly elections.

900 MIAGAOWANONS IN FOR DOLE TUPAD PROGRAM

A total of 900 Miagaowanons were identified as recipients of the TUPAD Program of the Department of Labor and Employment under the facilitation of the Office of Congresswoman Janette L. Garin.
“We are privilege nga may mga programa kota nga amo ka dya. Bulig dya kang gobyerno in return, ginapangabay namon nga buligan man ninyo kamo para mabuligan kamo,” said Congresswoman Garin in her message during the orientation of the beneficiaries at the Regional Evacuation Center on October 10, 2023.
The program provides occupation to Miagaowanons for 10-days on October 10-19, 2023, They will receive a compensation of P450.00/day.
“Basta mapisan ikaw indi ka guid magutman,” Mayor Richard Garin said as he expressed his gratitude to the DOLE and Congresswoman Garin for their commitment to help the Miagaowanons.
