BARANGAY VISIT TO BARANGAY KIRAYAN SUR

Mayor Richard Garin led the members of the Responsabelng Gobyerno in extending assistance to the barangays.
On September 25, 2024, the group visited Barangay Kirayan Sur, where the barangay received a check for the rehabilitation of their multi-purpose building. They also received their share of the Real Property Tax.
In his consistent message, Mayor Garin expressed gratitude to the community for their ongoing support of his administration, as he champions the tagline “Miagao Palangga Ta, Progreso Padayunon Pa.”

‘DISTRIBUTION OF FOOD PACKS’

The residents of Barangay Guibongan received food packs from the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office through Mayor Richard Garin during his visit to the barangay on September 17, 2024.
“Tanan kita apektado kang sitwasyon sa tulad. Rest assured that ang inyo mga lideres naga pangita guid kang paagi kun paano ma address ang inyo kinahanglanon,” Mayor Garin said.
It is important to note that several barangays were severely impacted by the southwest monsoon (Habagat). The local government promptly responded to their needs by distributing food packs to evacuees and other affected families.
Additionally, the barangay also received the amount of P70,000.00 as assistance for their barangay projects.

These unsung heroes in the barangay—our barangay tanods and Barangay Health Workers—have been chosen as beneficiaries of the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) Ayuda sa Kapos ang Kita Program (AKAP).

The AKAP program aims to assist minimum wage earners grappling with the challenges of rising inflation. Each beneficiary will receive P3,000 in support through this initiative.

These Barangay Health Workers have been chosen as beneficiaries of the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) Ayuda sa Kapos ang Kita Program (AKAP).

In his message, Mayor Richard Garin emphasized that the local government, in partnership with national agencies, is diligently working to implement programs and projects that best serve the community’s needs.
The AKAP program aims to protect minimum wage earners from the challenges brought about by rising inflation.
Under this initiative, each beneficiary will receive P3,000 as assistance. This financial support is a vital step towards enhancing the well-being of our community’s hardest-hit members, ensuring that they have the resources to navigate these difficult times.
