These unsung heroes in the barangay—our barangay tanods and Barangay Health Workers—have been chosen as beneficiaries of the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) Ayuda sa Kapos ang Kita Program (AKAP).

The AKAP program aims to assist minimum wage earners grappling with the challenges of rising inflation. Each beneficiary will receive P3,000 in support through this initiative.

These Barangay Health Workers have been chosen as beneficiaries of the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) Ayuda sa Kapos ang Kita Program (AKAP).

In his message, Mayor Richard Garin emphasized that the local government, in partnership with national agencies, is diligently working to implement programs and projects that best serve the community’s needs.
The AKAP program aims to protect minimum wage earners from the challenges brought about by rising inflation.
Under this initiative, each beneficiary will receive P3,000 as assistance. This financial support is a vital step towards enhancing the well-being of our community’s hardest-hit members, ensuring that they have the resources to navigate these difficult times.

MAYOR RSG BRINGS ASSISTANCE TO BARANGAY IGCATAMBOR NORTE ANEW

Mayor Richard Garin and the members of the Responsableng Gobyerno Team are steadfast in their commitment to visiting the barangays.
On August 29th, they traveled to Barangay Igcatambor to personally deliver the financial assistance to the barangay.
Mayor Garin expressed that this initiative is a way to show appreciation for the unwavering support of the barangays to him and his team.
