Mayor Richard Garin led the Responsableng Gobyerno team during the visit to Barangay Maricolcol on August 10, 2024.

During the visit, Mayor Garin expressed gratitude for the community’s continued support and cooperation with the administration.

He also announced a significant aid package for the barangay’s water supply system, amounting to P70,000.00. This initiative aims to enhance access to clean water, ensuring a better quality of life for residents.

Facilitated by the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, this training endeavor aspires to empower and equip the BDRRMC members with the indispensable knowledge and skills essential for their official duties deployment.

In his message, Mayor Garin expressed gratitude to the community for their continuous support and cooperation with him and his administration.

The team extended assistance for the Construction of Flood/Erosion Control (Canalization) and disbursed the barangay’s share of real property tax through Punong Barangay Edgar Siva.

This initiative arose due to a worrying rise in dengue cases in the area.

Residents received valuable information on how to prevent dengue, recognize its symptoms, and understand the significance of early detection.

Additionally, they were urged to take part in the 4S Kontra Dengue program, which emphasizes prevention through source reduction, self-protection measures, seeking early consultation, and saying no to indiscriminate fogging.

Mayor Richard Garin and the members of the Responsableng Gobyerno Team are steadfast in their commitment to visiting the barangays.

On August 7th, they traveled to Barangay Nam-o Sur to personally deliver financial assistance for the construction of a canal in the area.

Mayor Garin expressed that this initiative is a way to show appreciation for the unwavering support of the barangays to him and his team.

 

Part of the agenda was the proposed implementation of the Philippine Approach to Total Sustainable Sanitation-G2 Basic Sanitation in the barangay.

This initiative aims to enhance sanitation practices at the community level, ensuring a cleaner and healthier environment for all residents.
