HANDS ON MAYOR! MAYOR RSG meets MDRRMO
In the aim to professionalize the municipal employees and to ensure quality public service to the Miagawanons, Mayor Richard Garin is closely monitoring the operations of all offices.
Today, he sat down with the personnel of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office under the new leadership of Engr. Franco Carlo Monteclaro. In the meeting, he talked with them about their tour of duties, and office and manpower management among others.
“By end my May, I assess naman kamo. So, obraha ninyo ang mayad para sa inyo opisina kag sa banwa,” Mayor Garin said.

Mayor Richard Garin hears the accomplishment reports of various heads of offices during the regular Monday Executive Conference today.
During the meeting, the Officers are given the time to report their significant accomplishments for the week. In this meeting, he also gives out specific instructions and orders for their compliance.
MIAGAOWANON FARMERS RECEIVE ASSISTANCE
Some 3,843 rice farmers receive the amount of P5,000.00 as assistance under the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund – Rice Farmers Financial Assistance. This assistance is given to farmers whose incomes were severely affected by the rice tarification.
Hog raisers get updates on African Swine Fever in a one-day lecture-seminar organized by the Office of the Municipal Agriculturist. It may be noted that the local government is celebrating the weeklong Farmers and Fisher folks Week 2023 on May 15 to 19, 2023.
