TYPHOON PAENG AFFECTED FARMERS GET ASSISTANCE
Some 18 Miagaowanon farmers received their goat livelihood assistance in a distribution at the DA Food Terminal on September 27, 2023.
Municipal Agriculturist Ms. Ma Frea Monsale said that the assistance hopes to provide immediate relief from the effects of the calamity in the livelihood of these beneficiaries.
The members of the Municipal Peace and Order Council and Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council here convened for the regular quarterly meeting at the Executive Conference Room earlier today.
The meeting served as venue for the members to revisit the status of the peace and order and public safety and internal security operations in Miagao, among others.
MIAGAO OFW FAMILY CIRCLE ORGANIZATION RECEIVES BUSINESS START UP CAPITAL
Mayor Richard Garin formally turned over the amount of P200,000.00 from the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration to the officers of the Miagao OFW Family Circle.
This partial amount from a total of P1-million grant will be used as their start – up capital for their laundry business.
