TINY STEPS TO NO COLLECTION OF GARBAGE
The punong barangays whose barangays enjoy the garbage collection services of the local government gets orientation from offices concerned on the rules and policies of the ‘no collection of garbage and fees’ order issued on December 22, 2023.
With the order, the punong barangays are expected to pass an ordinance and collect from their respective residences. They are also tasked to identify their common waste disposal area.
Meanwhile, Mayor Richard Garin ordered Mr. Isidro Mosura, OIC head of the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office, to collect all pending garbage collectibles of 2023.
Some 180 Miagaowanons, mostly members of the Parents Teachers Association from elementary and secondary schools, received their DOLE TUPAD incentive at Palawan Pawnshop earlier today.
The payout formed part of the implementation of the P1M incentive for PESO of LGU Miagao as Regional Grand Winner and one of the seven national finalists in the Search for Best PESO in the Philippines, CY 2023.
