ONLINE PROCESSING OF PERMITS SOON IN MIAGAO

LOOK. In order to provide ease in doing business in Miagao, processing of permits will be online starting in August 2022. This was the commitment of the Department of Information and Communications Technology Engr. Isidro Laguardia during his courtesy visit to Mayor Oscar “Richard” S. Garin, Jr. earlier today.
Engr. Laguardia and his team came to Miagao to introduce the DICT-developed Integrated Business Permits and Licensing System software and to give the LGU an update on the implementation of RA 11032 (Ease of Doing Business Law) and JMC No, 2021-01 (Guidelines for Processing Business Permits, Related Clearance and Licenses in All Cities and Municipalities). They also conducted validation of the data provided by the LGU during the eReadiness survey conducted online.
For his part, Mayor Garin welcomed this development as he hopes for more businesses to prosper in his administration.

UPDATES I MEDICAL ASSISTANCE

LOOK. Congresswoman Janette L. Garin, MD, through Mayor Oscar “Richard” S. Garin, is extending medical assistance to Miagaowanons who will be admitted to West Visayas State University Medical Center. Today, Ms. Charito Famin of Barangay Olango enjoyed such assistance as she was given P5,000.00 medical card for her operation. The card may be used as payment in medical expenses incurred while on hospitalization at WVSU MC.

UPDATES I Lingkod Pag-IBIG on Wheels in Miagao

LOOK. Officers from Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-IBIG) paid courtesy to Mayor Oscar “Richard” S. Garin, Jr earlier today.
Mr. Marke Ken Carmelita, Member Services Officer III and Ms. Lilibeth Geraldoy, Marketing Supervisor presented their plan to deploy in Miagao the Lingkod Pag-IBIG on Wheels (LPOW) on August 1 and 2, 2022. With this, Pag-IBIG services will be available such as membership campaign, registration, updating/verification of member’s record, Provident Benefits Claim and Short-Term Loan applications.
Mayor Garin warmly welcomed the plans as he sees that this will surely benefit the Miagaowanons.

UPDATES I ECO BAGS PRODUCTION

LOOK. The Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) staff are continuous in their production of eco bags derived from campaign materials during election. This form part of the local government’s solid waste management innovations as waste diversion. this is also in response to the agenda of Mayor Oscar “Richard” S. Garin, Jr. on Environmental Management and Protection.
To date, 278 bags were produced by three LGU paid job order personnel.

UPDATES | Distribution of Seedlings

A total of 1069 assorted seedlings of fruit trees (langka, marang, citrus, cacao, grafted mangoes) were distributed to 71 beneficiaries from the barangay, private group and individual farmers.
The distribution is part of local government’s efforts to ensure food security and promote urban forestry designed to address the 10 Point Executive Agenda of Mayor Oscar “Richard” S. Garin, Jr on Agriculture and Fishery Development and Environmental Management and Protection.
