𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐫 𝐑𝐒𝐆: 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐠𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐬, 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐢𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐨𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐧𝐬

With the expected decrease in the National Tax Allotment (NTA) of all local government units, Mayor Oscar “Richard” S. Garin, Jr told the barangays to be prudent in spending government resources.

“Importante sa tulad ang paraabuton kun paano naton tipigan ang kwarta kang barangay especially now that first time nga manaba ang aton budget by 2023,” said Mayor Garin during the Barangay Development and Investment Planning Workshop Day 2 at the JRBB Hall today.

Mayor Garin also instructed the Municipal Engineer and other department heads to guide the barangays official in their dispatch of duties particularly in the preparation of the program of works and estimates for barangay projects.

“Tudluan ta nga amligan ang kwarta ka barangay ta. Ang plano kag estimate kang proyekto ninyo dapat husto,” he concluded.
