The Municipality of Miagao, led by Dr. Rhea Palacios from the Rural Health Unit, has officially launched the Oral Health Month celebration at Bacolod Elementary School. This event features a series of activities designed for students, teachers, and parents, all aimed at promoting better oral health practices.
In partnership with the Provincial Health Office, the initiative provides a variety of services, including free oral check-ups, fluoride varnish treatments, and dental kits. Participants also received family oral health kits, reinforcing the importance of dental hygiene at home.
Furthermore, the team distributed nutritional commodities to malnourished school children as part of the School-Based Feeding Program, enhancing their overall well-being.
