On February 17, 2025, the Department of Interior and Local Government RO VI released the official result of the 2023 Peace and Order Council (POC) Audit which names Miagao among the High Performing POC in the Province of Iloilo.
Chaired by Mayor Richard Garin, the Municipal POC works to improve public safety and reduce crime. It does this by coordinating law enforcement, the community, and local government in programs and initiatives to address the matter.
