Indeed, experience is a good teacher as Mayor Richard Garin gave some tips and advice on how the new set of Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) officials will become good, effective and responsible leaders to their constituents.
In his message during the first day of the four days training for newly elected SK officials, Mayor Garin shared his experiences as former Kabataan Barangay Chairman. He also shared insights on discipline and how to become good leaders and self-reliant.
According to him, the training was designed to make them (SK officials) responsible leaders.
“We cannot prepare the future for you, but we can prepare you for your future. That is why, we have this training,” he said.
