The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council recently conducted a comprehensive five-day training program focusing on Basic Rope Rescue techniques, including Basic Knot Tying, High Angle Rescue, Swift Water Rescue, and Basic Fire Fighting, from December 9 to 14, 2024.
This intensive workshop was attended by the dedicated 24/7 MDRRMO staff, alongside various volunteer groups, members of the Philippine National Police (PNP), the Philippine Army (PA), barangay kagawads, punong barangays, and barangay tanods, among others.
The primary goal of this training is to enhance the skills and capabilities of these essential personnel, who serve as the frontline responders in times of disaster and calamity. By investing in their expertise, we strengthen our community’s resilience and preparedness for future challenges.
