Officials and employees of the Local Government of Miagao lead by Mayor Macario N. Napulan, MD participate in the simultaneous earthquake and fire drill by the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office through the Office of Civil Defense at the Municipal Building Grounds on November 12, 2020.
The drill was facilitated by the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office headed by Ms. Arlene T. Nufuar together with the Bureau of Fire Protection –Miagao Station headed by SFO4 Berna D. Cataluña, OIC-Municipal Fire Marshall.
The conduct of the nationwide earthquake and fire drill aim to intensify local communities’ earthquake preparedness and increase the commitment of local government units in building safe communities amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
