Mayor Richard Garin led the Solid Waste Management Council meeting, joined by representatives from the University of the Philippines Visayas – College of Technology on July 30, 2024.

The Council focused on urgent environmental issues, particularly the challenges of managing garbage in the community.

Strategies were explored to improve waste management practices and promote sustainability in the town.
