These 73 Alternative Learning System (ALS) learners from the districts of Miagao East and West received their food and transportation allowance from the local government headed by Mayor Richard Garin.
In his message, Mayor Garin congratulated them for their completion and graduation on July 18, 2024, in Oton.
Mayor Garin has been supportive of the ALS, which provides opportunities for out-of-school youth and adult learners to develop basic and functional literacy skills, and to access equivalent pathways to complete basic education.
