The Municipality of Miagao bagged the Red Orchid Hall of Fame Award during the Regional Department of Health (DOH) Awards 2023 at Eon Centennial Resort Hotel and Waterpark on December 13, 2023.
The Red Orchid Award is an awards system developed by the DOH to encourage the LGU’s and other government agencies and hospitals to actively implement the 100% Tobacco Free and other related policies.
Moreover, Miagao was recognized as the Demonstration Site of the Healthy Hearts Program.
The awards were received by Dr. Philip Nufuar, on behalf of the Municipality of Miagao.
