Some 1,400 relief packs were turned-over today by the Department of Social Welfare and Development Office to the Municipality of Miagao.
The turn-over was personally attended by regional Director Carmelo Nochete and Mayor Richard Garin.
In his speech, Mayor Garin thanked RD Nochete for his “pag-ulikid sa mga pumuluyo kang banwa kang Miagao”.
These prepositioned relief packs will used during calamities and disasters. These are 1,000 family food packs, 100 box of hygiene kits, 150 kitchen kits and 150 sleeping kits.
